Welcoming the New Year

As the New Year unfolds, it invites us to pause, breathe, and reflect. In the stillness, we meet our hopes and dreams—those tender seeds waiting to take root in the fertile soil of our intention. Each moment offers a chance to recommit to what matters, to nurture our aspirations with care and presence.

Yet, the path forward is not without its shadows. What blocks us from achieving our dreams is often not the world outside, but the inner noise—the doubts, fears, and distractions that cloud the clarity of our purpose. From a Zen perspective, these obstacles are not enemies to conquer but teachers to welcome. They remind us to return to the simplicity of now, to release attachment to outcomes, and to flow with what is.

To honor this moment of renewal, I created the little house on Luma—a space of quiet celebration, where light and simplicity meet. It is a reminder that even the smallest gestures of creativity can hold deep meaning and guide us home to ourselves. It reminds me of the little house up here in the country.

As we step into this New Year, may we:

  • Set intentions not as rigid goals but as gentle guides, whispering what feels true and aligned.

  • Honor our journey, not for its perfection, but for its authenticity.

  • Let go of what no longer serves us, making space for growth, connection, and joy.

May we greet each day as a beginner, open and curious, finding beauty in the ordinary and wisdom in the unfolding.

To all who walk this path of becoming: may your year be filled with peace, purpose, and moments of quiet clarity. May your dreams find their way to bloom, nourished by the light of your intention and the strength of your presence.

Let’s journey together, one mindful step at a time.

Contribute with Gratitude

In the spirit of Zen, I embrace the practice of mindful generosity. Rather than setting fixed fees, I offer workshops on a "Dana" (offering) basis, inviting participants to contribute what feels meaningful and aligned with their capacity.

This approach honors the balance between giving and receiving, creating a space where everyone can participate with intention and gratitude.
