Irvington on Hudson, New York

This is the little town where my daughter spent part of her childhood, a quaint and charming place that holds a special significance in our hearts. Sometimes, when I walk through the familiar streets, I can almost see my late husband running on North Broadway. Those moments feel so vivid, as if they are just a heartbeat away, and they bring a bittersweet sense of nostalgia that envelops me.

I took this photo during one of my visits, capturing the essence of the town, and I digitally edited it to enhance the feelings it evokes within me. The final image reflects how the town feels to me—quiet, old-fashioned, and timeless. Do you ever visit places that bring back memories like this? Places that seem to hold fragments of your life, where each step you take resonates with the stories of those who walked there before you? It’s in these sacred spaces that we find connections to our loved ones, and it’s where the past intertwines with the present.

Contribute with Gratitude

In the spirit of Zen, I embrace the practice of mindful generosity. Rather than setting fixed fees, I offer workshops on a "Dana" (offering) basis, inviting participants to contribute what feels meaningful and aligned with their capacity.

This approach honors the balance between giving and receiving, creating a space where everyone can participate with intention and gratitude.
